Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Loan Management Associate to join our Loan Management Group within the Commercial Real Estate Lending division. This role is essential to managing the post-closing loan lifecycle through to payoff, ensuring efficient loan servicing, and maintaining compliance with loan agreements and covenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the servicing department to ensure timely loan payments and address any discrepancies.
- Partner with outside counsel to enforce loan documents, ensuring adherence to covenants and legal agreements.
- Develop and manage comprehensive reports on the existing loan portfolio, providing insights for internal stakeholders.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for borrower inquiries, addressing questions related to loan status and agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to support loan management processes and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Finance, Engineering, or Real Estate preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in real estate, asset management, or construction management strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with project management within a loan or asset management setting.
- Strong understanding of loan agreements, covenants, and financial compliance.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, able to convey information clearly to borrowers and team members.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
